Ever since an alleged 2024 defeat of the globalists’ effort for World Health Organization (WHO) preemption of domestic pandemic response, the health-freedom grassroots has lowered their guard on several threats adjacent to such preemption, including vaccine compliance-dependent passports, energy-rationing sustainability goals, and a Communist China-like behavior adherence score, all enabled by Digital Identification (ID), programmable, digital currency, and deployment of ubiquitous wireless antennas and the Internet of Things (IoT) for surveillance. We need to oppose all these tyrannical schemes, starting with repeal of both the REAL and Patient IDs.
Despite losing half of the public’s trust, America’s scientific community still sees data centralization and patient tracking as the main solutions to the repeated pandemic failures of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the 50 State governments. The WHO has long sought to strengthen its power to mandate vaccines in order to travel. In fact, twenty American States have already set up a vaccine passport infrastructure. Vaccine tracking would be enabled by the digital identification that Congress passed for patients in the 1996 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Fortunately, this Patient ID has not been funded, until, almost, in the 2022 Health and Human Services (HHS) appropriations bill. We need reintroduction, then, of Senator Rand Paul’s bill to repeal the Patient ID. Usable for whatever purpose desired by the HHS Secretary, a national Patient ID would leak data, as most government databases do – exposing our most personal medical information – and become a tool for the growing surveillance State.
Another, long-delayed digital ID is the REAL ID, first passed back in 2005, and based upon a warped idea that a NATIONAL ID would combat the 2001 terrorism incidents. Ever since, the Federal government has tried to force States to turn your driver's license into a national ID – with a database and probable tracking that creates grave dangers to privacy and imposes massive financial burdens without improving national security in the least. REAL ID never met its justification to stop terrorism. The 9/11 hijackers, after all, used legitimate passports. As the great U.S. Representative Thomas Massie tweeted, “...Real ID is a national standard and database of IDs that is primarily a tool for control of Americans. Trump shouldn’t enforce it.”
More than half of the States REFUSED REAL ID’s usurpation of States’ rights – whether prohibiting compliance or passing resolutions against it. State resistance, unfortunately, has dissipated, and early in 2025, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) issued a Rule to forbid travel without passenger possession of REAL ID.
TSA’s Rule, however, is not very honest. Its mandate does indeed allow non-REAL ID usage, at least for a couple years:
The Technocrats behind behavioral coercion want the REAL ID digitized, potentially put on your phone, made real-time and remotely accessible, and used to track and control movement, purchases, and transactions. During this phase-in period, then, America must seek any legitimate avenue to stop TSA’s tyranny.
To overturn the rule, Congress could use what’s called the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn rules. There’s a time limit, unfortunately, for this congressional tool. Before and after that deadline passes, then, we would urge pressure from President Trump for this rule’s withdrawal. Ultimately, Congress itself must repeal this and all other digital ID tracking threats.
Instead of constantly attacking the privacy and rights of Americans, there are better solutions that don’t trash the Fourth Amendment requirement for a neutral judge’s discretion to issue a warrant BEFORE any desired search of one's property. Under the U.S. Constitution, no one is required to submit to REAL ID, or any National ID system.
No reasonable person supports terrorism, pandemics, or illegal voting or employment – but it's a significant overreach to assume that they would willingly sacrifice their Fourth Amendment rights and privacy in the uncertain hope of preventing these issues.
