Americans Must Not Permit Another Weaponized Pandemic

Abolish Biolab Weaponization and create an independent Commission to investigate Public Health Regulatory Capture

Two years into the pandemic declared early in 2020, with Johns Hopkins declaring a million deaths by March of 2022 (regardless how inflated that figure was from faulty testing and hospital over-reporting incentives as testified by former Centers for Disease Control Director Redfield), Congress still has not brought to justice the COVID-19 perps, has not interrogated any probable corruption in the science misused to justify government countermeasures, nor has Congress permanently banned biolab weaponization of viruses and other pathogens.  

This must change: Congress must abolish pathogenic weaponization and pass Congressman Posey’s H.R. 834 to investigate the government's COVID-19 response -- to expose and end Public Health regulatory capture.

With Biden’s State Department Undersecretary admitting the presence of biodefense labs in Ukraine, Americans have to worry how unsafe our Defense Department has made all of humanity with thousands of such labs located in secret locations worldwide.

By October 2021, the Wall Street Journal and New York Post reported experts had sufficient evidence to blame the declared pandemic on a leak from a lab. In May of that same year Senator Paul caught National Institutes of Allergies and Infectious Disease Director Anthony Fauci lying when he denied NIAID funding in China of “Gain of Function'' (GOF) research (weaponizing viruses for virulence and increased transmissibility) as a scheme to skirt a ban temporarily imposed on such research in 2014. The NIH later conceded it funded GOF, through a nonprofit called EcoHealth Alliance.  

U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) later that same month successfully passed in the U.S. Senate an amendment to ban such Chinese research that makes more pathogenic influenza, MERS, and SARS viruses in mammals. Congressman Wenstrup has introduced legislation to ban weaponized viral research in several other foreign, adversarial countries. Senator Marshall has introduced a bill to reinstate the domestic GOF ban lifted in 2017 by NIH (possibly by Fauci and without clearing it with President Trump).

Attorney David Martin, who worked with the Justice Department during the early 2000s’ Anthrax release, has patent evidence of illegal gain of function research by Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina, and by EcoHealth Alliance’s Peter Daszak, the latter of whom is quoted from 2015 as having said:

“We need to increase public understanding of the need for medical countermeasures such as a pan-coronavirus vaccine. A key driver is the media and the economics will follow the hype. We need to use that hype to our advantage, to get to the real issues. Investors will respond if they see profit at the end of the process.”

Mr. Martin says that if courts should find any of the above perpetrators guilty of a felony, such a ruling would remove the liability shield for corporations granted emergency use authorization.

Not only must domestic bio weaponization be banned, but after the reluctant admission of U.S. officials that Ukrainian biolabs do exist, the older demands to strengthen the 1975 Biological Weapons Convention so that inspections can confirm compliance worldwide must be renewed.  Francis Boyle, the human rights lawyer who drafted the 1989 legislation adding America to that convention, has characterized all of this “biodefense” work as a “eupemism for biowarfare,” that it’s “criminal” and that “local Attorney’s General (AG) need to file charges of murder against any individual pursuing or funding dangerous lab work.” Anyone can use USA Today’s search engine to find Biolabs in their State, and urge their own State AGs to shut them down or write a letter to the editor to shut down any such lab located at a nearby university

Apologists for bio-weaponization claim such research is necessary to learn what therapies and vaccines could combat future pandemics. But journalist Sam Husseine counters that such research has been “impotent to protect us from this pandemic,” while Biosciences Research Project Director Johnathan Latham agrees with Husseine, stating that lab work can never mimic what might actually arise in nature. Latham also rejected an additional argument for keeping the biolabs, that is, that the biolabs have biomedical-research potential. No less a medical heavy-weight than The Lancet has weighed in on the debate as well by dismissing any GOF benefit that could not have been achieved with less lethal means. This position was supported in 2015 and 2016 when USA Today exposed hundreds of lab accidents and safety violations, warning of a “screenplay for a disaster movie.”

As far as a commission to investigate COVID-19’s corruption is concerned, the National Health Federation fears that it will only result , the National Health Federation fears that it will only result in a 9/11-style oversight white-wash. As proposed by Senators Murray and Burr, such a commission would most likely be given over to a similar commission already started by attorney Phillip Zelikow, who has been panned for the suspiciously superficial 9/11 Commission he chaired. It doesn’t allay any suspicions that his commission goals don’t call into question “mandates” and “lockdowns” but rather will investigate “when to use” them. It doesn’t even mention depoliticizing the science that allowed for health tyranny, and has absolutely no mention of ending dangerous viral, genetic modification experiments.

For a COVID-19 Commission to avoid being dismissed as a cover-up, it needs to recruit the best scientists, doctors, lawyers, and investigative journalists with proven independence from ANY ties whatsoever to large pharmaceutical or technology corporations, or other such special interests. Congressman Posey’s “PREPARE Act” – the “Pandemics Require Evaluating, Planning, And Responding Effectively Act” (H.R. 834) – represents a good start.

With mRNA vaccine technology inventor Robert Malone questioning whether the most recent strain (Omicron) also displayed evidence of lab manipulation, Congress needs to:

  • Abolish biolab viral and pathogenic lab weaponization before the next pandemic -- which may not be as fortunately mild as Omicron; and

  • Arrange an independent COVID-19 Commission to investigate the politicization and questionable science behind government pandemic countermeasures – including lockdowns, masking, emergency powers, scope of practice, right to try, vaccine informed consent, and, most importantly, regulatory capture by special interests.
