Life insurers found 40% excess deaths in 2022 (pointing to COVID-19 vaccination), which has led over half of Americans to admit in a Rasmussen poll that they fear vaccine injury.[1,2] Government and corporations mandated these vaccinations for doctors, nurses, soldiers, pilots, workers, and ever-younger students. Now, families are learning to their chagrin that the “Vaccine Court” set up for COVID-19 vaccination injuries contains fatal flaws rendering compensation nearly impossible.[3] For vaccine accountability, Congress needs to transfer injection-injury liability back onto the manufacturers themselves. Otherwise, the manufacturers have no incentive to stop injuring Americans. The National Health Federation asks you to cosponsor the Vaccine Liability Restoration Act Representative Ronny Jackson plans to introduce in 2023.
The effort to restore liability onto pharmaceutical corporations started in the previous, 117th Congress by two of its members, Reps. Scott Perry and Louis Gohmert. Congressman Perry’s H.R. 6282 would have divorced COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers from the liability shield granted to suppliers of “countermeasures'' during a declared “emergency,”[4] while Mr. Gohmert’s H.R. 9366 would have restored injury liability onto corporations for all vaccines.[5] In the 118th Congress, the latter bill is being re-introduced by Congressman Ronny Jackson, who invites cosponsors.
Injury liability was removed from the pharmaceutical industry for all vaccines long ago, after excessive injuries from the now-withdrawn DTP shot led manufacturers to make the alarmist threat to halt all vaccine production if not granted liability immunity. Congress fell for this hyperbole and granted such protection with the 1986 Childhood Vaccine Injury Act.[6]
Since that gift to industry two things have exploded from a dozen to over fifty: the number of required vaccine doses and the percentage of those detrimentally affected by chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and autoimmune disorders.[7] Recent studies have shown a statistically significant 1,000% less chronic disease among the unvaccinated, yet the government still refuses to study a genuinely unvaccinated control group to verify or reproduce the results .[8]
There existed in the 117th Congress a bill (H.R. 5816) that would have prohibited the government from continuing to refuse to acknowledge the science of unvaccinated control groups. Also introduced by Congressman Gohmert, his bill also would have established a National Informed Consent Exemption (NICE) to allow Americans to decline any vaccine.[9] The NICE Act will be reintroduced in the 118th Congress by Congresswoman Mary Miller, who also invites cosponsors.
How can there be justice for the over 1 million COVID-19 vaccine harms recorded in government databases, until the pharmaceutical industry faces liability for their injuries? And how will we stem the real epidemic – chronic disease – if pharmaceutical companies continue to escape liability for all of the other shots? For the health of Americans, please support Mr. Jackson’s bill as well as that of Ms. Miller.
